Dear colleagues,

1) an updated version of the testbeam analysis program h8 is available
   now from the Web:

   http://pcatlax.mi.infn.it/testbeam/h8-repository/h8-03.06.10.tgz 

   The main new feature is the DECODING of the new 2003 DAQ format.
   It can be activated using the option
          -r4
   both in db and in h8.

   Please take into account that all the data taken in May 2003
   contain data from the silicon microstrip (Bonn) telescope, as usual, 
   and from 3 "pixel stations": 
   in PLL1 and PLL2 two modules were tested (in part in LHC mode),
   while PLL3 was reading the pixel telescope.  

   Then the 2 modules under test can be studied using the h8 program 
   without modifications for all the runs, except
   the "Trigger on Diode" runs (interactions) that will need a special 
   treatment.

2) data, presently stored on machines dedicated to DAQ, 
   are going to be stored in castor
    /castor/cern.ch/atlas/testbeam/pixel/2003

3) an online version of the logbook is available from the Web:
